Hosted By Living Water
What does it mean to practically love where you live? It's easy to start off with great intentions and a desire to actually see change, but what do you do when nothing happens? What do you do when good intentions remain good intentions and no action happens? That's where James' revelation comes in:
"What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him...For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead." – James 14-26 ESV
You see, loving as Jesus loves accounts for good intentions and action. This year at Lakefair, let's take the love of Jesus to the people! By picking up garbage and cleaning off tables, let's show people that we genuinely care for them. It may be a simple act, but the impact of serving others can echo for years to come. Let's make Lakefair something special!
We need your help to keep Lakefair clean by picking up garbage and keeping the picnic tables clean. There are also opportunities to help with Kid's Day and the parade as well!
